About the Author Ged Guthrie
Ged is not a sporting hero, hasn't survived a highly publicised tragedy, he is not a former Prime Minister, he is just an ordinary "punter" who has a passion for local football.
Ged was born in Coolamon NSW in 1958. He was raised in Ganmain until 16 years of age, when he moved to Canberra to work with Australia Post with whom he is still employed. Ged lives in Jerrabomberra NSW with his wife Maxine and their two children Thomas and Grace.
This is Ged's first venture into the world of publishing. Ged has always loved the Ganmain football club since his early days as a mascot and going on to play with them.
